Just got the notice from Bank of America that the Air France KLM card is switching from Mastercard to Visa. Kind of surprised this didn’t leak earlier.
The XP change is actually pretty solid. The annual XP bonus for hitting $15k spend is a lot more generous than before. I usually get close to that anyway with flights and some recurring charges, so this actually makes the card more interesting for me.
Also nice to see 3x on dining added. That’s something the card was really missing.
Curious how others feel about the switch to Visa and whether this changes how you use the card.
