Baggage reimbursement with Air France dragging on forever

We lost our bags on a 5 day honeymoon in Italy and AF told us to keep receipts and they’d reimburse essentials. Ended up spending about 1300 euros between makeup, clothes, and stuff we actually needed for a photoshoot and excursions.


Filed the claim right away and it’s now been about 2 and a half months with basically no updates. Every time I call, I get nowhere and they say there’s no supervisor to escalate to.


Anyone else dealt with waits this long? Starting to get worried because we were flat out told we’d be reimbursed.
