If you're a fan of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge like I am, you’ve probably heard that the villas at Kidani Village and Jambo House are finally getting a full room overhaul starting this fall and lasting through 2027. It's their first hard goods refurbishment since they opened in 2007–2009, and yeah… it shows. I stayed in a Jambo one-bedroom a couple years ago, and while I loved the savannah view, the room was definitely past its prime
I’m cautiously excited though! If the updates are anything like Boulder Ridge, we’re in for a real glow-up think brighter interiors, new pull-down beds, better lighting, and way more plugs. My only worry? I hope they don’t overdo the Lion King theming. What do you think are you team keep it classic or add some IP flair?
