Just got an automated call from Amtrak saying my train tomorrow is overbooked and they “strongly advise” rescheduling to avoid standing conditions. I originally thought it was about the snow, but nope, apparently a technical issue.
Rescheduling is tough since my Sunday train already got canceled because of the storm, and classes start Wednesday so I kind of need to be on this one.
If I show up anyway, are they actually going to let me board? Or is this one of those warnings that’s worse than reality?
