Air France lost our bags and now they’re rejecting every claim letter

AF lost my baggage a while back and I’ve been trying to get compensated for the clothes I had to buy. They asked for a “letter of authorization” so I could handle the claim for both me and my partner. I’ve now sent that letter five different times and they keep saying the signatures don’t match our passports. It really feels like they’re just stalling until I give up.


Phone support just tells me to write another letter. No one will escalate it. I’m honestly shocked at how difficult they’re making something this basic.


Anyone know what actual recourse I have or where I can push this higher?
