I have a Manchester to JFK flight booked for March 14. Yesterday I actually called Aer Lingus to double check, and they told me I was fine since the official end date for Manchester ops was March 31.
Today I get an email saying Manchester–New York flights are stopping from Feb 23, and as a result my flight is canceled.
Pretty frustrating to be told one thing by phone and then get this a day later. Now they’re saying they’ll “be in touch” with options, possibly via Dublin, or a refund if needed.
I get airlines change plans, but this feels messy and poorly communicated. Anyone else booked on MAN–JFK in March and get the same notice? Curious what rerouting they actually end up offering.
