I genuinely thought this was satire at first.
Unless you’re flying some last minute full fare business or first ticket with very specific constraints, that is wildly unreasonable for SEA to MEX. And via London makes it even more absurd. That’s basically flying the wrong direction across the Atlantic to get to Mexico.
On a normal day, that route nonstop or with a simple US connection should be a few hundred in economy. Even business class usually isn’t anywhere near $6k one way unless something very specific is going on.
This sounds like a glitch, married segment weirdness, or the system forcing a bizarre fare construction.
Definitely don’t book that. There are much saner ways to get to Mexico City.
