Just saw an offer to upgrade from economy to premium economy for 1,220 euros. For an economy seat with a bit more legroom and a nicer tray.
Who is actually paying that? At that point you’re basically buying the world’s most expensive welcome drink. I get that upgrades fluctuate, but this feels completely disconnected from reality.
Sometimes I genuinely wonder how these prices are generated, because there’s no way this makes sense to a normal human.
