Our flight HA814 today is showing a 12-hour delay, and I’m trying to figure out why. My husband and I love Hawai‘i, but this has completely wrecked our plans we had to check out of the hotel, cancel our ride, and now we’re just stuck waiting it out.
I’ve had delays before, but this one feels extreme. Anyone else on this flight? What are you doing to pass the time?
Update: We finally made it to HNL. Check-in and bag drop went fine, but we were told we’d get food vouchers at the gate which didn’t make sense since everything’s closed. When we asked a CSR landside, she said we’ll get the vouchers on the flight.
